Decided to install the transponder and radio on the right side below the instrument panel.
To fit the transponder vertically, I needed to move the right rudder pulley down about 1". The cable needs to be in the same place to clear the main spar. I moved the upper pulley hole to the lower existing hole and drilled an additional lower hole. The pulley was mover to the top of the bracket and a cable retainer added.
